My Essay Re-write Accomplishing your Goals.

Published on by Heaven Monroe

Goals are what keeps us occupied in our everyday life, without trying or pushing ourselves to achieve those goals, we become unhappy and regretful. With nothing to strive for, life would be more challenging than one would expect. Creating a learning experience for ourselves through past goals, we learn things to help improve and make greater goals than before. Fulfilling your goal allows you to feel self-accomplished, with the feeling of pride and confidence. Goals are the basis of our existence, something to achieve everyday making our lives successful as a human race.

First of all, everyone wants to have the best life possible, which is why we have goals. A distant cousin of mine achieved his goal of becoming an artist. Staying proactive, planning it out, and putting forth a hard effort, his goal has made him financially successful, in his eyes, a good paying job makes life easier. Sports is another reason why its important to work hard for what you want. Never get anywhere by sitting on the couch watching hockey, but hockey players make millions in one lifetime. Just by accomplishing simple goals on how to shoot an accurate shot at the net. Baseball players have to know how hard to hit the ball and get a home run. That doesn't just happen overnight, you have to work hard and practice over and over again until its perfect to their standards.

Secondly, it's amazing what you can learn from working hard towards your goal. Years ago my dad achieved his goal as a district manager, over an eighteen year period learning the proper ways and techniques of running a business. Today he's currently the owner of his own company, by achieving and setting new goals. Every Monday to Thursday I run for two hours at the LRC, nine months ago I could only run for a minute or so. Now, by adding on thirty seconds every time I run, learning to push myself and force my body to run that extra bit, my full limit is reached plus thirty seconds. Learning how to play football, my brother practiced and practiced, starting with how to catch a low football, a hundred times a day catching a low football the same way. Once he reached his goal he took that knowledge and used it to catch the ball thrown at a higher level. Using previous knowledge of a previous goal makes it easier complete a new goal.

Thirdly and lastly, one of the best reasons to work hard and motivate yourself is for that feeling of self-accomplishment and success. Proceeding through life with that extra boost of confidence and pride can make future goals easier to achieve. Three years ago, I had to write a poem in order to get into this writers camp for half off the original price, inescapably after stressing over days, it finally came to an end. Determined to get it just right, to fill all expectations I finished it all on my own, the right way. Feeling proud having had actually reached my goal, I felt so content with myself, gratified, relaxed, and ready for my next goal. Same happened to a friend of mine, she lives to skate, she is the hardest working person I know. Explaining how she can work so hard, it's for the feeling of knowing she accomplished what she's been working so hard for, to keep doing it until it's perfect, then doing something new.

Remember, big or small, it's your goal, what's important is how you achieve it, whether or not you worked hard to earn it, how hard you worked to achieve it, because that feeling of fulfillment is by far worth it. Learning all these different things along the way if it may be by experience or mistakes, it makes the next goal possible. Without something to do everyday, even the goal of getting out of bed, life would be tough, we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves as a race. We have brains to use, lets use them to accomplish great things for ourselves, or the benefit of others. Taking focus, dedication, hard work, and seeming near to impossible, turn a goal into a reality.

Good luck with whatever goal you have, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
